I played 1.0 but during the end (mainly during the paid part) I had other life issues I had to deal with and wasn't able to pay/play and don't have the reduced sub or all the 1.0 items but I don't go around demanding SE give me the stuff cause I had other priorities at the time. And where are these people, exactly? Who says it is strictly anti-fans of 1.0 who want the items? What about the people who couldn't play? Or newer players who never had the chance? Your argument is based on a hypothetical group of people that in reality is likely very, very small.
That's... nice...? I was talking about those who do want the items.I played 1.0 but during the end (mainly during the paid part) I had other life issues I had to deal with and wasn't able to pay/play and don't have the reduced sub or all the 1.0 items but I don't go around demanding SE give me the stuff cause I had other priorities at the time.
How the fudge has this troll thread already gotten 105 replies? This is why this world is nuts. We pay attention to the wrong people.
While I do admit, that I kind of want some of the gear no longer available be put on the mogstation (wind up Dalamud minion)... I also understand that it was a limited release deal. We all had ample opportunity to be able to have that specific minion, yet things came up which prevented some from getting it. The Legacy Chocobo and Goobue mount... imo, they should remain where they are. We already have a Goobue mount from completing the Sylph quests and the Legacy Chocobo (while nice to have for mount collectors) is a reward for those who stuck out FFXIV Version 1.0.
Veteran Rewards ending? I would like to have some form of confirmation from a valid official from the FFXIV team regarding that, as there is only supposition on the part of a few doomsayers. The rewards are there for those who have subscribed the required amount of time and to reward people for keeping their subscription. Having them all thrown at people on their first day, like the OP and others have 'requested'... negates what a reward is.
Keep on making threads demanding this imaginary "fairness"... That's being selfish. Wanting something for nothing...

Hater... I'm going to make sure to mount my Legacy chocobo while wearing Tantalus gear if I happen to see you around -_-
The last thing too regarding the 1.0 items since no one else I think mentioned it. While I hate bringing this up as a bullet point, but it is there anyway. Those items are very much heavily lore related to the story between 1.0 to 2.0 to 3.0 on a character level.
Dalamud Horn: Your character bested White Raven and solved the mystery behind the Empires Meteor Project.
Chocobo: Your characters faithful friend that wandered the wastelands of the Calamity alone for five years searching for your character while they spent five years in crystal stasis awaiting to be rewoken.
Tattoo: Upon awakening your character was branded as one of the survivors of the final battle in Mor Dhona.
Gobbou: I forget the exact lore so if someone can fill in the blanks please do. I vaguely remember the Wandering Minstrel saying "he only had a few he saved from slaughter"
That all said it really wouldn't make sense on a character level and world story level if these items suddenly were on the cash shop if a character wasn't around for those times. Square Enix may go back on things, but one thing I never seen them go back on is their own games lore and setting.
