Veteran rewards going away make other items obtainable

If you let someone who has a mount you can't get ruin the game that is your problem. Doesn't ruin the game or my playtime seeing people with rewards I cannot get.

I'm no 1.0 player, so it doesn't bother me that they have the Goobue mount and I don't. If I want one, I can just go and buy it from the Sylph beast tribe (it's smaller, but who cares).

if seeing someone with a mount from sticking through the game during it's rough patches ruins your gaming experience, you will not last long.

Play because you think it's fun and not because you think you are self entitled to things people earn through other means.

The whole "everyone gets a trophy for participating" is old and ineffective.

I was thinking the same thing too. If someone feels threatened or intimidated over seeing another person with something they can't get. That's a personal problem. I use my legacy chocobo whenever I'm out. I'm not "rubbing it in others faces" I'm using it because I just really like the mount. No different then when I see people run past me using their EX pony's that I can't get because I just choose to not do the content. They're using a mount they enjoy and I don't have it. More power to them and bless them and move along to whatever it was I was doing.

Moral is be happy with what you do have and seeing others with something you don't have is not a personal attack unless /you/ choose to make it that way.

no ones holding a gun to your head telling you that your gonna get the membership for veterans rewards or eat a bullet. if people want the vet items they just gotta be patient and keep renewing their service simple as that we got the system so that you get these items for staying with the renewal system. if you want a goobbue mount do sylph breast tribe quests and get that mount let 1.0 players have their glory same with the tattoo on the back maybe SE will give us better tattoos if they're nice enough but dont start getting saltly just cause you want an item and cant wait for it or because you didnt join in 1.0 nough said
