Yes, I think that the monthly fee isn't that much of a good idea in the long run, especially for people like me who plan to stick with the game for years (that'd be the most expensive character ever, haha x_x)

My initial idea was a one time purchase of an extra slot in the server of my choice, so that I can play one of my 40 free characters in that slot. Technically, I'm not asking for a 41th character; it wasn't about purchasing more characters than what I'm initially allowed in my account. And just for the record, I personally wouldn't pay a monthly fee for a character I can play for free in a different server. As I said, it's not a good idea in the long run.
