Actually I do like the cards around the globe and the globe with its discs, but I don't like the holder at all. For me, it serves no purpose at all, doesn't make the class any more "unique" if that's what they were trying to achieve (like the damn box on MCH). Both, AST and MCH's extras, just kind of kill the aestetics pretty much.

I understand why they decided to let Machinists hide their barrel. There was obviously overwhelming desire for it. But this is just silly.

I view this as is a bizzare QoL suggestion.

I don't think its to crazy of a suggestion to be able to hide the cards that spontaneously swirl out of the weapon change size and are the wrong size when you hold them in your hand. thats also a fine reason to hide the card holder. we don't even visually use it. it wouldn't have a functional disadvantage as it would with hiding a paladin's shield since the cards are just what ever they want to be.

it might be because i use ornate or detailed weapons but cards on top of all the animations makes things visually noisy and i don't think its wrong to dislike it or discuss this topic. i think its fair that Mech should be able to hide their lunch box as well. it might hold all their ammo and turret stuff but you cant say that we don't pull ridiculous things out of our invisible inventory anyway.
