We Need Glamour GearSets

While I believe most people want this or a glamour log (both would be best), it seems SE is reluctant to do this.

I'll go ahead and assume 2 reasons:
1. Less need for storage (= less money from people getting retainers)
2. Server issues

Even if that is true, SE needs to get it into gear then. Practically every MMO has some sort of glamour set feature. In fact, we already have one with our retainers. Just utilize the same idea; separate character menu can be brought up and any gear worn there overrides the look of your otherwise equipped gear.

Just want to say this real quick, FFXI (you know that other mmo SE runs) has gear sets in it and all you have to do is hit the lockstyle option in the menu and bam whole glamour done. Could bring thatlockstyle function over to 14 since we have gear sets already.

I am by no means against it btw, I would LOVE that option and SE needs to get this game up to par with other games.

Yes please can we have this D; I know it seems silly.. but my White mage and AST isn't as geared as my Scholar simply because they would have all the same glamour... and its not like you can run around with three sets of identical gear in your bags cause you know.. we can't expand armory bag space. >.>

All these are good options I just hope they acknowledge the obvious oversight. For me Glamour is my end game content lol. I was discussing this on facebook and someone said that SE said they were not going to do Glamour gearsets because they would have to completely overhaul the gear system...

Players have been asking for this for a long time. Anything that they implement in regards to it would be an improvement. The way the system works now is just plain boring. There are so many games that have awesome systems for glamor so I don't buy the reasons listed above as being valid. If SE wants to do it they sure can come up with something. Something as simple as a wardrobe slot just like we have armor storage they can do the same it does not have to be anything crazy but I have so many different looks I have gone through with my guys and I like them all but I can only have one that display at all times, that is ridiculous.

Exactly! Maybe they are working on it quietly and plan on releasing it in the next expansion.

That's where I am at right now. Ive yet to find a Glam that looks good on all three of my tanks.

As much as I'd LOVE to have gear sets of glamour (Infact I hate to share the same look on all 3 tanks), I think we firstly need to fix the glamour itself.

Don't take me wrong: gearsets are a good thing if they ever implement it, but SE should focus on fixing the current glamouring system before implementing anything else. Yeah yeah i know it's their gimmick to make us buy more retainers but if they fix it (I HIGHLY doubt they would, but I wish I'm wrong), then gearsets could become a thing in the future and even more. Maybe even improved dyeing with more parts to color (Like in Wildstar).

Heck, even WoW (worst game in the world yadda yadda) has finally a better transmog feature with an actual log that saves your appearances loot (And I won't lie, I never had so much fun making out sets and running old content for unlocking more!)
Why can't FFXIV?

PS: I know, it's the usual "Limited data" stuff that we've heard for centuries now.
