Not really. People are complaining because it breaks the early and middle game, and it screws DoH even more than they were getting screwed before the patch. The devs should focus on creating early to middle content, not trying to rush everyone past it.The people that are crying about this the most already have all jobs at lv50 and are jelly that one guys gets his lv50 in a week vs. the three weeks it took when leves were broken..
Besides, when lv capp is raised and ppl have 100k-200k between lvls you will be begging for that extra exp.
when lv capp is raised lv50 WILL be the middle game.. You guys talk about this as if lv50 is it and SE doesn't plan to go any higher.
No, he hasn't, and he most certainly didn't use it to get his own 50s.

A bunch of people in our ls just found a camp or two that gives easy exp chains, now we take it in turns to pl eachother in one hour slots.

I need to make some friends or I'll never hit 20.
No one expects the miquote inquisition!!!
i just rolled a new character on a new server to try out 1.19 and thought i was making pretty good progress, then i read the forums and i see that this kind of stuff is happening.
i'm not leaving ffxiv now because of the lack of content, i haven't even been playing long enough to notice a lack of goals to achieve, i'm leaving because of the same reason that i left ffxi after abyssea was introduced, the way you level now is you have your friends who are already leveled up level you up.
after reading through the thread i noticed a few things that i thought were wrong...
a few people have been saying that the its not okay to help level up new players because they 'have to learn the game', yet its alright to level up experienced players; i don't agree with this notion.
if there are only new players leveling up together they wont have anyone to teach them how to play, not to mention that there probably wont be anyone to play with if only new players were available to play with - there wont be a sufficient player-base trying to level up to form parties with if most of the population is getting power leveled while the other part is hopelessly stuck trying to fiddle through the game, i'm picture something akin to the blind leading the blind.
people were also claiming things like "its not hurting you, why do you care what others do?", but i disagree with that notion as well
if the game requires a party of eight players to be at their most efficient and 4 of every 8 players, instead of joining a party, get power leveled, than its likely that there will be either half as many legitimate parties or parties forming which are only half as effective as they should be, both effect my ability to play the game in legitimate parties.
Greetings everyone!
We do appreciate your feedback on the situation and we have already forwarded your concerns. Since there other threads similar to this one, it will be locked. Thank you all for your posts!
