Apartments and Houses

So, I couldn't find a solid answer anywhere, so I'll ask if anyone happens to know. Can you have an apartment and a house? Currently I have a house, privileges at another house, and an FC room. I'd like to add an apartment to the list of "places I keep my stuff" if I can. I'm hopeful, because like FC rooms, there seems no reason to limit them.

Nothing has been said yet. "Official" will be when people with personal housing try to buy apartments

The way that it's being presented (like an FC house and a room system), yes, it seems highly likely that you'll be able to go over and buy an apartment.

Honestly, it's just the FC room system ported to the ward. So yeah, no doubts in my mind personally that anyone will be able to access it for a sizable chunk of money.

And cost more than an FC room too.

They said in the live letter that the apartments will be available in each of the housing districts, each having that look unique to that district. They also stated that they will be available for 500k, which is slightly more expensive than an FC room at 300k.

It is still unknown whether or not there will be apartment buildings in each ward and sub ward. We don't know what they look like yet, maybe just a glimps (maybe?). But we do know each building will have 512 apartments per building. For the price being higher than fc rooms, I'm expecting them to be a bit bigger than fc rooms, but we won't know for sure until we get closer to patch release. I don't think they will let people have a house AND an apartment, though (even though I'd like both for my decorating addiction). But like I said, we won't know for sure until we get closer to patch day, since they didn't give a lot of info this live letter.

Depends on whether apartments are limited in the same way as housing or not. If they're not limited in a meaningful way, then ownership of a house and apartment(s) shouldn't be an issue. If they are limited, then yeah - the system should prevent house owners from grabbing apartments.

Did they say strictly 1536 per server? I do not recall them saying so, they just said 512 per building. There are people who feel they are gonna add the buildings to each ward, since they showed pictures of the building in one of the districts.

I have a private room in my own FC house to which I am the owner of and I have FC mates who have an private room who also have a private house.

I know other FC owners who have their own FC houses, their own private room, and literally 8 other private houses so they can use the gardens.

So...why do you think for a moment that they wouldn't allow anyone to get an apartment no matter your current ownership? These apartments are going to be unrestricted...because everything else has been so far as well.
