I'm curious, which monsters did you have the lv50 kill for 1k EXP per one? I was being PL'd at the Ixali camp and it worked well untill Lv35

There aren't any. You may get the occasional 1k+, but on average you'll pull in around 500 per kill if you're doing it right. But the numbers don't add up unless you exaggerate, right?

This is one of the 8 people in our power leveling party. All of them getting the same EXP per hour. (except the rank 50 PLing them)

1 rank 50 kills mobs for 7 others in the party at over 1k per kill.

2,100,000 exp yesterday for each player. (See screenshot)

Its only 1,700,000 to get from 1 to 50.

1-50 in a day is possible. Thanks SE! This seems much better. Leveling was dumb anyway.

There comes a point where you can't powerlevel anymore. I don't think you could get 50 in a day, because at some point, you're going to have to level on your own "power" and you won't be earning xp quite so fast. It still takes a good chunk of the grind out, however, but isn't that the privilege of having friends in high places?

Well, if the 'getting's good,' why are you bitching about it?

The vast, vast majority of people who are taking advantage of this are - like yourself - already in possession of an r50 job or three. Do you think it's necessary to force these folks to grind grind grind to get their subjobs up to 30 or so (after which PL'ing stops being near as effective)?

Of course they do, but there's one thing you aren't pointing out.

You got all that exp yesterday, and how many classes did you hit 50 with? How many did you hit 45 with? That's a good 450,000 exp per class that you haven't gotten yet.

PL the way I have explained until rank 40.

Then take a group of rank 40s to the new dungeon and take them to 50.

Thats the best way to do it.

40-50 is a bit slower, but you can speed it up to over 100k an hour if you have a 2nd group of 50s beast the mobs that your rank 40 group claims.

Wow, over 15 hours of powerleveling? Though like you say it is only really power leveling until 40 because after that point they have a choice of participating or leaching. I consider myself a pretty nice guy but I'm not gonna do that for just anyone, especially when you level fast enough grouping from 1-50.

I can see if you had like an alt you were powerleveling to "dual box" this being useful. Or if your linkshell really needs a certain job or something and has someone willing to do it. Though I personally don't see everyone and their sister going this route. Maybe if they paid an RMT to do it (but that isn't new, maybe just cheaper now with this change).
