Only 1536 apartments per server?

I'm not arguing about wether or not they should implement a larger "fix".

While not making the problem worse, they are further entrenching themselves in this flawed system instead of admitting they need a real fix if they are to do their best for all players.

So the longer they hold on to the crummy system they have the more chance we have of never seeing a proper fix and the housing system becoming a black mark on the game itself. They can't even really do anything interesting with housing, because anything they do is damning players unlucky enough to not have a house.

I didn't say the apartments are making things worse though. I said the housing system which means the housing system we already have. Since we do not have apartments yet. Apartments are not included in that statement.

Now say we did have apartments. Yoshida Naoki san does not make it so people who already own a house can not buy an apartment that is one why of making the Apartment system worse.

Like i said before Apartments should be free and available to all players. If they really truly can not do that. Then People that have houses should be locked out of being able to buy apartments.

They said it's 512 apartments per building, and then at the live letter showed the big buildings that are in each housing ward. It's not some random building in the city, it's in an instanced ward and subward areas. Which means there will be 24 buildings per city, not just one building per city.

So, the 1536 number is not correct. The more correct number is over 36k, as they said they wanted everyone to be able to purchase an apartment.

taking the numbers from the inofficial census... the average server has 5-8k active people, the smallest 4k. there is NO server wich is small enough so everyone can have a house...

This isn't exactly true, because not everyone wants a house, and not everyone can afford a house. My bf is on Typhon, and even BEFORE they added more housing wards, there were plenty of housing plots free. When they added the extra ones, they were almost completely empty. Even now they're still mostly empty, I think.

Yeah, it's one of the smaller servers, but there are plenty of servers that still have housing available.

It's unfortunate for Balmung, but that's a really unusual case. Most servers already have enough, and I assume they're considering all servers and not just the outliers.

I'm in a great FC, and guess what?
We don't have a house since there hasn't been an open plot for us to buy on Lamia in months.

Apartments were our latest chance at housing...

So buy a house....

Edit: dam I have to spell it out for you guys.. There are other ways to buy a house, and players do it all the time.

Except that 300k room and any destructible furniture can disappear at the whim of anyone in the FC that can kick people.

So don't be a asshat and get kick out of the FC, or better yet... Don't buy a room in a FC if your just going to fight with them O.o and get kicked out.

Not every FC is bad, take your time and find a FC that fit you as a player befor buying one. I don't get what so hard about that?!?!
