Only 1536 apartments per server?

So everyone transfers and creates a grossly overpopulated server.

Then they cry that there aren't enough limited resources to go around.

Maybe you should've realized that there are pros and cons to being on a populated server?

First of all, I didn't transfer to Balmung. I played 1.0, and Balmung is the server they tossed me on come 2.0.

Second of all, I'm not going to ditch my friends and family, that play on my server and a lot of them are 1.0 vets as well, just to bandaid fix a broken housing system.

Maybe YOU should've realized not everyone on Balmung are transfers or people who came here because it was a large community.

Why can't people just be happy. Poor SE always having people rain down on their new content. It could be 3000 and you'd still have people on balmung complaining.. just can't escape it.

I don't understand why there is another thread about this. When there was a thread made about apartments just the other day. I said there and I will say it again. SE really did mess up on the houseing system like everyone else has said.

We ether should of got free mog house like in FFXI. But they should of just been upgraded so they had a garden and a stable as well. House's should of been for FC. In my honest opinion these apartments should be free and everyone should get one. That would shovel the problem with people that already own a house trying to buy an apartment. I don't understand why anyone who has a house would want an apartment. Since with a house you get a garden.

I've been wanting a house for time I live on the Odin server and it piss me of that on every ward I see so many names on the list in red.

They completely f.u.c.k.ed up the housing system and instead of fixing it they keep making it worse.

Easy fix..join a FC..Buy a room...DONE! And there only 300k. ... Not 500k -_-

Except that 300k room and any destructible furniture can disappear at the whim of anyone in the FC that can kick people.

How exactly is it making it worse by making apartments available?
Do you want them to remove the wards and all and just make it all instanced?
Or would you rather see a gradual introduction of apartment system that seems to be more flexible and extensible?
It may not be a complete solution right away, but this is a solution that keeps existing stuff and adds new rather than get rid of the old first.

You can see why SE prolongs activity on housing with so many resources dumped into making 1356 apartments X worlds to get a reply saying 'Only 1536 apartments per server'.

If I was the company, I know I wouldn't bother with future updates on it when players don't appreciate the effort.

The only way the apartments are going to work, like other people have stated, is if people that own a house can not buy an apartment. If they do not implement this into the apartment system. It will be unfair for the people that been wanting a house since the housing system was including into the game and was never able to buy one.

Like I said before apartments should be free and ether they should be available to everyone or available to people that do not own a house.

Well, I'll bet if you make an alt on Zalera, and go to the housing district, goblet Ward 11 has only 7 houses in it, and ward 12(I live in ward 12) has 3. That's a lot of open, unsold lots. There is spotted housing still open in the new wards in LB and mist. Sooooo you explain that one, Housing isn't a problem on every server

RMT spam isn't a problem on every server, that doesn't mean I feel SE should ignore it.

You were saying that they're making things worse, I asked specifically how what they're doing now is making things worse.
You're requesting an immediate fix and change to how housing works. That's not realistic unless you want to screw over existing house owners.
So... How exactly does apartments make things worse?

I'm not arguing about wether or not they should implement a larger "fix". I'm asking how the apartment system is making things worse than how it is now.
Did it ever occur to you that they may have more plans to extend apartments even more? Since it seems to be way more flexible than what we have already.
