Agreed. Plus, SE has provided zero incentive to move to a low pop server. When I ask people why they came here it's always, "X server is dead. There's nobody around."Sorry I don't buy the mentality. The guys at the amusement park aren't allowed to put extra people on the ride because they can get more money. They knowingly have allowed the population to increase. If they had truly locked Gilgamesh and Balmung at 2.0 we would have 4 even servers. Or how about the thousands that they have taken money from to let them on, I blame dealers as much as the addicts.
Dealers and addicts isn't quiet a good comparison, nor is the amusement park. I think of it more like, thousands of people moved into the dessert knowing full well there wasn't enough water or food, and now they are throwing a tantrum. If you want that house, or whatever resource your so adamant about QQ'in over. You'll move. just like ppl move to be around more people, or for raiding. ect ect. Sorry but if you want that house enough, you'll make it work. "but what about my friends T_T" blah blah blah, if housing or an fc house for yall means so much, put a community event up for your friends and start saving so you can all transfer. Sorry SE isn't responsible nor required to fix your problems. Want a house, move. simple as that, end of story.
"nobody around"? really? LOL. Tell me how the most oxymoronic title for Zalera came about. Zalera got labeled a "social server" yet we compete with Mateus for lowest server population. Nobody around my butt. Hunts die within a few minutes of spawning. Most the Fc's have upward of 100 members to 300. and most the major linkshells are full. New ones pop up daily. 90% of the people that leave Zalera are people who acted like jerks, or scammed people, and word got around really fast, and they couldn't find a safe place to hide from their actions. small servers don't take kindly to douchebags and you get accosted for bad behavior harshly on small servers. Small town justice. Once again it boils down to, a player made problem. not SE.

Isn't that because everybody keeps moving to the high pop servers? Admittedly SE doesn't really do enough to stop it, but, if players actually spread out over more servers, less of them would feel dead, more of them would be satisfied with housing, and literally everyone benefits. High pops get less congested, low pops get a little more life. It's win freakin win.

I'd only be impressed if I'm able to walk up to my room and not be instanced at the door. -_-

typical English forums , SE gives us apartments and more rooms , and people complain in the first post about it again :P its not even known how many apartments there will be :P

Not sure what you mean by it isn't SE's fault, because they decided to make housing this way. If they knew their limitations they would improvise, not say "Here some houses, settle it amongst yourselves" which is exactly what happened. Since SE is so fond of instances they could've easily gave everyone their own instance for housing and fcs could have guild halls. The inn system proves it.
As for the population being low, thats not a lie. Behemoth was near damn empty. Pf was barely up for anything, rmt was rampant, there's a significantly less players in Iddlyshire on Behemoth than on Gilgamesh, PvP queus are alot slower on Behemoth as well, 24 man raids are alot slower too. When people say there's nobody around you know exactly what they mean. You may have been lucky to have a small sever with players who were fond of eachother. Back on Behemoth people stuck to their own groups and for good reason. Raiding elitists and regulars. Even then, players would split off to players they're familiar with. Statics and fcs were around, in fact my fc was one of the well known ones along with the ol'404 fc.
My old server Behemoth died down as time went on and after each patch players stayed less time. Gilgamesh has a more dedicated playerbase, which makes the most sense for the reason its always heavily populated. Not many rmt either. The worst of it is the neighboring servers are suffering from the same thing which means slower instance pops. Thats why people ask for server merges. Ok, done now.

let me spell it out, in more blunt terms. Housing was added later on, and its safe to say it was meant to be a limited commodity. If you cant get a house because of your server choices, you traded privileges, you traded faster Q times for no housing space. Your choice, not SE's. Don't blame them for a choice you made.

Well, when a lot of people, AND I MEAN A LOT OF PEOPLE, want to be lone wolfs in this game and not join any FC at all, it'll probably happen.
