So that leaves me two choices, somehow get the patch day off and get lucky and net an apartment within the first 20 minutes of servers coming up, or pay the extorted prices when I get home from players looking to make a huge profit off the fact SE decided to limit the amount of apartments to a ridiculously low number.

Buy an apartment and then ask for payment to make them give up the room.


Either way, 1536 is no small number. There are currently only 2304 houses per server.

It might not be a small number but its still not enough of some servers like balmung with 20k+ characters wanting houses

Well...it depends! There were...20k characters on Balmung?
1500 is a mere 7,5% of that and the price is easily affordable even for alts and newer players.

On the smaller servers, there are even some houses left open, so I wager for them it's overkill, but...yeah.

more like you see one person with 5 or more homes not including the fc house they might have all because SE doesnt just make a limit of say 2 houses on one server per account and since it's a smaller server the prices are far greater then what you pay on say balmung a smaller server last i saw a small plot just buying it off the player costed about 20 to 30 mil and thats just for the small plot before actually buying it for yourself to own

Back when the last set of wards was added, the scalpers on Balmung were trying to sell small plots in goblet for 50mil, and other wards for 75+mil.

This is all I have to say if people try to sell instanced apartments, cause you know it most likely be the same way at FC room.

Well, when a lot of people, AND I MEAN A LOT OF PEOPLE, want to be lone wolfs in this game and not join any FC at all, it'll probably happen.
