I didn't watch the live letter, but based on the translation here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post3831797 it's still not entirely clear. Are these 500k apartments a single room only?

Also was any mention made of Ishgard? I thought they were planning to open up apartments there?

Flower pots. To be honest I never thought we'd get a garden, I did hope though that an apartment might be more than a single room...otherwise it's not an apartment - it's just a dorm room :P

I think for now it is one apartment building per the main three city-states.

Also I remember them saying before that apartments will be bigger than FC rooms, but smaller than cottages.

As much as I would love an apartment, I also hope that they count as a personal house so that those without any housing have the ability to finally get a place to call their own.

I hope you can give better permissions for the apartment. What annoyed me about the fc room is you had to lock it for all or none. And you can't give permission to people on your friend's list to place things in the room. Hopefully bonded couples can co-own the apartment at least.
