Two things. This game seems to be designed on a wish and a prayer anything that doesn't seem to be an extension of what already is in the game is game breaking/impossible. Two they have embraced inventory bloat and charged you for it. Unless the bank was somehow attached to mogstation you are literally taking money they forced you to pay through game design.

I actually like the idea though. But even farther instanced house with a storage that is account wide. So that all characters on one account on one server share space and items. Not sure what Aion has now but at launch storage was account based and it was really convenient.

I would love an account-wide storage. I think FFXIV is the only game that doesn't have an account-wide storage. If I am wrong, please correct me.

To be honest with you they made a big mistake with inventory space. Making retainers the main use for extra space for items. Making it so after two retainers you have to pay real money. Even FC chest was a bad idea, since the leader of the FC is the main person in control of it.

Housing was just implemented wrong as well. Including when it comes to storage. That's one thing I liked about the Mog houses in FFXI they was free. If you wanted more inventory space by cupboard for your Mog house.

This why i believe My City bank idea would be perfect. Just keep it away from the Mog station and allow us to use in game gill for inventory space.

The point is that design decisions at this point lead me to believe that it is a cash related decision. Your suggestion takes money out of there pockets. I pay $30 dollars a month why would they want that to go back down to 15.

Bloody hell how many retainers do you own. We might have to do a boycott on using retainers. For us to really see change in that area of the game. Boycotts have worked a lot on company's changing the way they do things if you don't believe me research it and you will see what i mean.

The Idea is nice but... I still need that item space when I'm playing. I can't just throw away half my stuff because boycott. That would be all my alcheminst, gourmet, smithing and leatherworker stuff. Just try crafting.
