Then why did 95-98% of raiders cheese it? If it was so easy, people would've stuck with Nisi.

Aside from simplifying the fight execution (less people needed to learn complex mechanics) and the fact player-player passing code in Gordias was pure trash, the main reason it was cheesed was the DPS check. With nisi you have to kill the straf dolls which is a massive dps loss. With the sac you could ignore the straff doll which is something like 46k damage per doll put towards the boss over the whole fight (iirc there were 6 dolls).

Even accounting for weakness and the fact you can melee lb3 the boss with the legit strat. The sac had a conservative 200k damage lead.
