    It was 2:00am Eorzea time. I'm not sure if the weather has anything to do with it, but it was raining when she appeared for just about 3 seconds before vanishing.
    Is that after the PotD quest? I always wondered if her ghost still shows after you complete that quest. Perhaps this means her spirit hasn't laid to rest yet. . . . or it's an entirely different being altogether.
    I'm probably just over thinking it.

    Yes, I just completed the PotD quest a few days ago and saw Edda's ghost last night, so apparently the quest doesn't change it.
