I support it...in XI you could go from 10-26 in less than 2 min. With this game, it takes longer. I support it.

My 1 Gil is worth more than your 1 Gil.

It was more like an hour and 2 minutes. It took some time to train every mob in The tunnel. But point taken.
I love the new system. I love the fact that I can be walking along and just start Hitting some bodys claimed mob.
People forget Lvl 50 is by no means endgame. Lvl 50 is also just a temporary cap. Level is not the grind. Materia is.

I'll admit I'm a bit ambivalent about the power-leveling thing. While it cheapens the achievements of the hard-cores, it opens up (current) end-game content to more people.

Yoshi-P has said that leveling isn't the point to this game. I think too many people make it their primary focus and measure of achievement in the game. Power-leveling helps to break people of this.

The only problem I see is that DoL and DoH get left behind in this new environment.

You can get ARC to 50 in a short time now, but it seems to take even longer now to cap BTN or ARM...

Once we get a little more content (although to be honest with you, my time has been consumed with questing since making this new character) more people will see that the grind is not the games focus, nor is it the central spin of the game.

Yes getting a few classes to Rank 50 is great, but you can still only play one at a time.

I have really enjoyed doing the quest chain that leads to allying with one of the 3 Grand Companies, and meeting all the leaders. At first I thought the story to this game was really terrible, but now that it has been given a structure and direction, im finding it both engaging and interesting.

I simply cannot wait to get home and carry on questing tonight, and maybe later on do a bit more power levelling to get some of my lower classes caught up.

Basically, once we start getting a little more content, things will spread out, like my Ls for example, are all doing different things, some are levelling the normal way, some are power levelling, some are farming, some are crafting, but ultimately everything is a benefit to the shell and makes us stronger. If that means boosting a few people through chunks of experience, then bring it on.
