25k per 10 minutes = roughly 150k per hour

Now of course that's not entirely possible, because you'd be leveling so fast you'd have to keep moving to higher level mobs to keep that exp rate going. But it is still quite substantial.

I agree. Let's keep it to the facts. And let's not make topics and spam them just for the sake of combating opinions (like this thread is doing).

I love how people are saying that it's PLing that's bringing back players and attracting new ones. Good show.

Couldn't possibly be the Chocobos, Airships, new content, Ifrit Battle, new crafting system, Materia, Grand Companies, etc etc etc.

So, for anyone to give fake info just to nerf this, it's not cheating, it's power leveling and it's legal. Recently, a player was kicked out of an Ls just because they felt it was wrong. As mentioned in the other forums, PL is the norm on XI in abys and I even took a look at that on youtube.

I'm so glad you brought that up. Do you know what's happened to the 90% of FFXI that's not Abyssea? Nobody's playing it. If you're starting a new character, you're SoL. The only thing a new player can do is get to a level to where he can start being PL'd in Abyssea, and after that he'll have to solo just about everything else or hope he has friends who are willing to help him with level capped content. How fun is that?

If you are looking out for whats best for FFXIV then you would agree a good community is one step in the right direction. A good community member respects threads and doesn't try to bring them down for their own personal enjoyment.

A good community member, a good citizen, debates and questions the higher authority. They don't sit complacently and let the status quo continue, especially if they feel it's wrong. This is a forum. It's designed for expressing opinions. Why make a thread asking for only one side of the argument? I'm well within my rights to call out people on their defense of PLing, and I refuse to do it in another topic. Quoting people from this thread in another would be stupid.

The reason there are so many threads is because this is a serious issue. If you can't accept that and respect that, and defend your position with anything but, "have a wonderful day and i hope puppies rain down from the sky if that's your thing," then you might as well shut yourself in a room, cover your ears and escape to your land of puppies (if that's your thing).

While I understand if they nerf it, powerleveling is one of the major reasons some people have come back to the game and stuck with it for the time being. Being able to jump in without stuff leveled and catch up, or even just party (you can contribute by support healing) is really nice. There are a lot of things to level in this game, people certainly aren't just bypassing exp like some people make it seem. That's exaggerating.

Personally, I am enjoying it and would love to see it stay.

Yeah but this thread is not about debate its about celebration and happiness that Power-leveling brings to us.

If you don't agree then please just stay out of the thread. You are bringing down our spirits with your trolling/negative attitude towards something we all enjoy. There are other ways to get your points across other then ruining other peoples threads. Here let me give you an example.

You walk into a random persons party that says " this party is for people who like football only" So you walk in even though you hate football. Then you walk up to 4 jocks talking about football and how they enjoy it so much. Next you say "hey football sucks and i hope the NFL stops funding it" What do you think they will do to you? I would think 1. either ask you to leave or 2. punch you in the face.

Now i hope you understand, you can go back to your other threads and be upset there, this thread is about joy that Power-leveling brings to the community.

Also supporters try your best not to argue with these people in the thread you are just encouraging them ^_^ just ask them to leave and show your support to the thread and maybe share a small story about how this change has made the game better for you.

This thread is only for the sole purpose of expressing good feelings towards power-leveling. Why should i make a thread only for one side of the argument you asked; of what argument? there is no argument in my thread topic, or in the forum. The only argument in this forum is why you and a few others come here trolling and putting down our happiness.

You have no right in my thread to call anyone out because it is not up for debate, this is a thread for only people who agree with the topic. If you don't stop trying to change the subject and make this into a debate thread i will ask a mod to revoke your forum privileges for trying to troll my thread.

If you want to ARGUE about power-leveling then make your own thread and stop trying to bring down mine.

yeah even at lv 50 most people will still exp to level up their items for breaking down into materia. Or at least a good bit, it will probably be good money selling high end materia
