Per the live letter at E3 - Sleipnir is on the list for a flying upgrade. I dont see the summary posted on the OF - but here is a news summary

To be honest, this is the only reply i've seen usefull in the whole thread.

Basically all the rest have been flaming and trolling.

Of course i didnt pay for a flying mount, but if SE was upgrading every single mount to make it fly, why not Sleipnir? I want Sleipnir to be a flying mount cos its my favourite mount, and using it only in places where flying is not allowed just pisses me off.

I see theres loads of ppl in the forum waiting for someone to open a new thread asking something or complaining about anything in the game, to enter the thread and flame or troll.

Honestly, I think the very fact that it is ridiculous is exactly why they made it fly. Probably why it got the priority it did, even. Devs/artists/what have you were all "lol we have to make this a thing."
