Veteran Rewards going to 1200 and 1320 days

it is a bit disheartening newer ones basically have no hope of getting these cosplay outfits

They're fixed rewards... they just need to play and over time they'll get the rewards (hence the name, veteran rewards).

The Problem is when the bonus continues and never ends, there is no one arguing about it being a long time to achieve...
After 5 years we will see 10 year bonus or what?!

With 1080 days Square Enix is already in the top10 of longest reward bonus...

Players can catch up (1080 days), but whats with the 2160 days reward then?
To say they can catch up is FALSE as long as the reward continues!
Most companies calculate with "one year rewards" for veterans and sometimes giving out anniversary rewards...
It is uncommon to force players longer than 1 year!

I am having a hard time grasping what the real issue is here. As other posters have illustrated, Veteran rewards are nothing but thank you gifts the subscriber gets once their subscription reaches are certain number of days.

Where is the 'need to catch' up coming from? Hell, if you wanted to 'Catch Up' you could just purchase additional game cards to reach whatever veteran reward you are striving for.

This no different from starbucks awarding people stars for their purchase. That free Venti is nice, but I'm not going to pre-purchase $$$ of cofee just to get it, nor am I going to lament the fact that my friend 'achieves' 2 free venti's before I get to my 1.

It is uncommon to force players longer than 1 year!

No one is forcing anyone to subscribe for any period of time.

But if you do subscribe, they'll give you periodic rewards for your continued service.

It makes even more sense that the longer time periods are also the more valued rewards... how insulted would you feel if you subscribed for 5 years and they said "here's your veteran rewards.. have some single use fireworks." Woo.

I have a mentality that those complaining should adopt. I have wanted the Zidane outfit since I saw them put the strife outfit in the game, and when they finally did I wasn't even at the strife outfit. I saw 1080 days and was like WHAT? then I realised that I was safe in the knowledge that the outfit was in the game and if I kept subscribing, one day I would get it, and better yet, I could pay some extra money and get it quicker.

The outfits aren't going anywhere, and the amount of rewards you get between now and then (mounts, minions, outfits, furnishings, bardings) is more than we deserve tbh.

This is a bite on players who can get 1320 days as well because it is almost like SE is saying "Hey we are out of ideas for Veteran Reward so here we move a old one we already have into 1320 days reward because we are out of ideas for now"
