[DEV REQUEST] Grand Company Goodies

The GC update is coming (THANK YOU!!!) and I was wanting to make a few requests in the hopes someone sees this and can pass it on to the DEVs.

1. GC Glamours
There are a number of outfits worn by NPCs belonging to the various GCs that cannot be gotten or made. Some of the gear is similar to exisiting gear, but not it you know? Would only take a few pallet twerks to make it happen. For an example, see the Flames in Bluefog.

2. More Minions!
I collect them, and while the Mammets and Baby Chocobo warm my heart, a Moogle in a GC hat or something would be fun.

3. A Flying GC Mount
I would love a modded Magitek mount in the company colors with a company emblem brazened on it. That would be cool.

4. Don't Forget Achievements, Titles, and Items
The last achievement stops at III where as the others go to IV and grant a glamour item. How about a neck item, like an awarded medal or something? And we need a title or two added, would love something like "Soldier of the [GC]" or something like that.

I would enjoy Grand Company quest chains that really make you feel you are part of a Grand Company/City State that you belong too. Right now the Grand Companies don't add anything but another form of currency which is very lame. Oh I guess we could count pvp......

We're getting the next set of GC ranks in 3.4 along with a new tier of GC rewards and quests so to some extent your request is already in the works.

3.4 is apparently dropping quite a lot of additional GC content as well, including the ability to recruit and train your own squad to use for something. Details are still sparse but they clearly have big plans for the GCs going forward now, I think they were just waiting for the Heavensward arc to be over.

I think its great that they are giving it a lot of thought(hopefully!) and adding it all in like a mini patch. We really need some GC love all around.

I would be so happy if we can customize the squad with glamour and things.

I actually think that every GC rank we earn should be available as a title for our character. (Flame Private, Flame Sergeant, Second Flame Lieutenant, etc.)

You know there are some GC with <CAPTAIN> as a title. A Maelstrom captain can be found across from the aetherite in Aleport for example.

I would love a title for every rank.... if only one for <Flame Captain>. Would make my rp heart sing.

I generally don't care about glamor, but I do think the entire FC system has been a giant missed opportunity. There is no battle content in this game truly meant for FC participation, and the social rewards/benefits are lacking as well.

The ability to craft FC gear/uniform glamors would actually be pretty dang cool though.
