There needs to be harsher punishment for mentors breaking the rules

Considering the duties you get are fairly random, since you get put where you are needed, I find it highly hard to believe someone could be "boosting" with alt's or people they know. Especially since you can't even que with anyone when doing a mentor roulette.

The vids and other info I have say otherwise. If it was allowed, I could prove beyond anyone's doubt that it happens.

@ Vnolan, just because People Queue up together, yes, they queue up manually, is no way to punish them. It doesn't matter if they time the Queue, Queue under a single Language to get together.

I'm hitting a Wall here but just to say, this what most People do to get the Parade Chocobo or other Mounts just as Tank Mounts, has been know for a long time by now.
Example? People Undersync Garuda Ex and kill her in a matter of a Minute. Other go into Guildhests to get their Commendations.

We get it, you're sad because you're not getting the Mount faster unless like other Players get theirs. Get over it, Please.

Nobody has ever been banned for cheesing roulettes. I have a hard time believing they'd start with mentor. But I guess you can keep charging at windmills if you really want to.

I agree with the people saying adding the mount to mentor roulette was a mistake.

The 'crown' icon was probably a mistake as well.
Should have been a watering can.

What even counts as an "okay" player harassment report these days? Me and my girlfriend went into Copperbell NM the other day, since she recently started leveling MRD to learn how to tank. Granted, she's really fresh - but I taught her the basics and on we went. Ended up with a mentor and a non-mentor, neither of which said a word, though my girlfriend was up-front about being new to tanking the duty. After about five minutes, they promptly kicked her and then proceeded to leave the duty themselves, again without saying a word. Clearly, they thought the run was slow but didn't want the 30-minute penalty and so this mentor kicked a newbie for his own gain. What gives? Naturally, I can't report on behalf of someone else, and she didn't seem interested, despite having gotten quite upset over this, thinking she's such a terrible tank nobody wanted to party up with her. Not the way to get newbies to try new things.

That's abuse of the vote kick system, plain and simple.
As well as harassment.

I would have reported it myself.
Even if it doesn't directly ge them punished, it's one more mark on their record.

If something like this happens to you (the general you), you should report it, don't let them get away with it.

When you accept the mentor crown, the game spells out pretty clearly for you the kind of behavior you're expected to exhibit while wearing it. "Cheese" roulettes if you want to, but when you do wind up with new players still learning the game, treat them with kindness, tolerance, and respect. While I haven't personally heard of a mentor being stripped of their crown, the game suggests it's a possible outcome for a mentor who is shown to be abusive.
