Help with XI on Windows 10

Wherever you put the playonline folder (programs by default) you should be able to go into the square enix folder and find a folder called toolsus i think which has ffxiconfig and padconfig in it. Select padconfig, also remember to select ok to apply your changes once your done.

Well I found the Play Online viewer config and it has a gamepad option there, but it also did not detect a gamepad/my 360 controller, and the light remains blinking. I'm really not sure how to find the padconfig and the ToolsUS thing my searches aren't showing anything for that.
Edit: Found it, set the button layouts like you and the default E setup suggested it be as, Xinput checked and ready for both the ToolsUS and ToolsEU just so they're both the same, gamepad should be allowed in FFXI config for both as well. My controller still has the lights flashing and no input is being received by my PC or the game itself, my PC sees the 360 Wired controller but no button input is going through anywhere.

It's in the final fantasy xi folder just looked it up. Also the controller doesn't work with play online itself, once you skip the opening cutscene the controller starts working.
