As much as I dislike FF and detest Anita Sarkeesian, I have to agree that there is a disproportionate amount of male gamers coming on to female avatars. I'm just speaking from own observations, including when I was playing FFXI as a Mithra. Constantly being hit on by male gamers, but never once did any woman gamer drool over my male avatars. Ugh... the number of male gamers that got disgusted when they found out my mithra was really a man... "I did it for the DEX." Macro'd response.
I've never been hit on by anyone in a video game, even if I do roll a female. My FC doesn't even give a f- that I'm a woman irl as well... Maybe I've just been lucky, or men are terrified of me. Which has been the experience for the most part. I wonder why men are afraid of me...As much as I dislike FF and detest Anita Sarkeesian, I have to agree that there is a disproportionate amount of male gamers coming on to female avatars. Lucky I would guess. I have had some really weird/nasty/uncalled for advances from other players during my years of MMO gaming on many different games. On FFXI for example it was pretty constant as I played a Mithra since I love cats and it was quite bad since I was a minor at the time and only in my early teens and sometimes learning the players harassing me claimed to be anywhere from 20-35 years old. Quite nasty.
On FFXIV it doesn't seem as often, though I do play with my boyfriend and he has the same last name as my character, so it might be a deterrent to some because they figure I am already taken/in a relationship. In FFXIV I only have a few instances in all 3 years of players asking me weird questions or being sexual towards me so in my case it seems to not happen as much anymore. I have joined random groups for hard content like EX primals or savage raids and used voice chat and everything and everyone has treated me like a normal teammate and they don't say or do anything inappropriate even after hearing my voice and confirming I am female.
So I am unsure of others experiences but in my experience FFXIV community seems to be a lot better off than some other online communities I've been a part of.

That sucks, I didn't play XI long enough to even see a real person when I did a free trial so I can't say what my experience would have been there, I also rolled a Mithra. Perhaps I'm just not socialising enough in-game or Odin's too large for me to meet these creeps. They'd be running the other way after trying it on with me though if I ever did meet them. :P
I did try a stint on Twitch once where a guy asked me if I was single then quickly left when I said I was married, lmao. Hardly an MMO tho. x)

Oh no, don't get people like that started.
I see this on my server a bit too often and people who do stuff like this guy sometimes go into some crazy theories about how feminism is some giant conspiracy and it turns into a huge mess. Once it all starts, they can go on for hours.
As for the OP, unfortunately there's no way to do that, as they also have another pressing issue to fix: The fact that a person you blacklisted can still end up in a PUG with you. They still can't speak to you there, however. If they can't filter blacklisted players from grouping with you in the DF, I don't think they'd be able to make someone invisible yet.
