He's not going to like it if he felt the classes are boring...Plus end-game is you doing the same things you've
been doing since you started, which is gear treadmilling. If he don't feel like it's fun now, then he probably won't later.
He didn't say the classes where boring he said the opposite.
He hasn't done any end-game content.
Maybe you need to re-read the OP.
He hasn't done any of Heavensward's end-game content, but he's done nearly all of ARR's end-game content. If he ended up not liking the original game, the expansion is unlikely to change that, certainly not by providing more of the same at a higher level.
It's a pity. I'm in the process of completing all the ARR stuff myself, but I'm still enjoying it. Of course, it's nowhere near as fun as the earliest few levels when first starting the game, but I've never known any game where the endgame can match up to the fun of the beginning.

I want to come back, but only when I can find a class that I'd like to be. I love Monk, love Whm, and love WAR, but it became so monotonous playing either of them and their alternative jobs while the pressure put upon healing and tank jobs pretty high. I can't recall having fun with this game after everything became familiar and monotonous.
Now he finds them boring if I'm understanding correctly. If he can't find em fun now.
But my point still stands, if he's not really enjoying the beginning, he's not going to really enjoy HW.
Though he might find a bit more fun if he DID get some of the jobs to 60...still, he'd still be doing the same stuff.

because the gameplay of the classes from 50-60 doesnt change. The only class that completely remains the same is monkI want to come back, but only when I can find a class that I'd like to be.
