FFXIV 2nd expansion: Viera-like race still a possibility?

Although i used to be a pro Viera addition, when i see what the did with Au'ra....i think it's better for everyone not to add them sadly :'(

Still no to Viera (and Ivalice as well as new races in general) and yes to more facial/body options (third clan included) for the current races. Using Au Ra as an example (look at their concept art and then the in game model), there's no point making a new race for the game.

Oh I'd hands down see expanded customization rather than a new race!

Really don't want Viera at all. :/ Their game cross-overs are obnoxious enough when they're temporary events. Let Eorzea be its own thing, please.

Well , as i always said if not Viera race so give Fran hair and outfit but everyone know there will be not a FF XII event as they not did for FF X

That I'd be totally cool with. In the Golden Saucer or something. I just want SE to be a bit more creative when it comes to designing base lore for the game, rather than just recycling stuff they already have.

I just to say one thing, no matter how many people say no the polls say otherwise so your voices are already null.
Whether or not they'll be added was already decided last year when they started working on 4.0

Like Kurogaea has been saying, instead of arguing whether we want them in the game or not (that's already decided), talk about what they'd be like in the game if they were added.
In my opinion they're going to be added, with the Dalmasca and Rebanastre hints and West shroud staring at us (and us going to the moon) what more hints do we want? Oh I don't know, a random bunny minion out of NOWHERE. This is all speculation (with a bit of truth to it so don't take is as fact).

Look at how the Dragonsong war ended, it ended with "Darkness filling the boughs of the shroud." Who would get angry at invaders invading the forest?

We're nearing october, I predict we will see them in 3.4 or a shadow of them when the Warriors of darkness try to destroy the black shroud, these are my guesses don't take them as facts.
Lastly, we'll get new race + new customization. We don't have to only get one (ps3 was probably the reason for no new faces).

I can't see Vieras be ( only ) a beast tribe. That would ruin a great opportunity for a new race if the design is actually decent looking.


Imagine all the crying about housing and multiply it by a million if it happens.
