Could be fun as a craft job, they could add a new armor slot related to it and we could craft different models ^^

People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
No, we stayed and supported the game when everyone else mocked us and made fun of the game.
If they want the tat, they should have done the same.
Agreed and nearing the end of 1.0 the game was pretty fun to play. If they invest any time into personalizing characters it should be on making more face options and facial feature options, not tattoos that your gear is gonna cover most of the time anyways.
The special snowflakes wanting the customisation of the player character's back to be exclusive to them is incredibly selfish.
Is it that difficult to express an opinion without calling names?
And on the flip-side of your argument, it's quite selfish for people to expect to be handed a reward given to others for absolutely no other reason than "I want it".
Id kill for Sydney Losstarot's rood tattoo mark. Shame its so difficult apparently to use items from other games.

I agree with Skivvy in that it could have been worded better, but KEV1N specifically said "customisation of the player character's back", he didn't mention the legacy tattoo specifically. The impression I got was that they want a different type of tattoo, just in that area.
I agree that legacy tattoos should only been for 1.0 players (I just wish it was account wide, since it's presumably the same person that experienced 1.0 behind the characters). :P
As i mentioned many times already, to have tatoos in the same general area would greatly diminish the visual impact and recognition of the 1.0 tatoo thus severely lessening the magnitude of the reward.
Nowadays when you see a tatoo on someone´s back, even you don´t know what it is and you find out or you instantly recognize it´s meanings.
With a myriad of tatoos one people´s backs, most people would not even notice them anymore, much less know their specific significance.
In the end, the argument is still "let me have something it was never planned for me to have, just slightly different"
Or the famous blue cait sith example used many times by many posters in this thread.
Ahh, if that's how he meant it, I did misinterpret the comment. :XI agree with Skivvy in that it could have been worded better, but KEV1N specifically said "customisation of the player character's back", he didn't mention the legacy tattoo specifically. As far as tattoo location goes, I view it like the chocobo situation. Everyone has access to chocobos, but the legacy members get a slightly more unique style with the burnt feathers. If we do at some point get tattoos, open up backs to everyone, but keep the legacy tattoo unique. :3
