Disappointed in Youkai Watch

Now that I've actually gone to give the event a try I have to chime in... I expected something better. The quests were small and not really interesting. With FFXIII, Dragon Quest and FFXI (both Shantotto and Maiden's Rhapsody) they did a much better job, where I felt an actual story was taking place. With Yokai Watch I felt like I was just tossed an item and sent to do FATEs.

Yup that is what it is, you are given the watch and your first minion then it is fate grinding to get all the weapons. There is not much of a story of any kind for the event.
