FATE FATE 14, please add some interesting activities into the seasonal event!

You are right. I m not that hate about fate. Just want to see some new things.

Just to point this out, for fairness sake: We had new things:


Eastern: Mini-games (okay, also fates but you could choose to do only the games after haven done everything once)
Anniversary-event: Nothing to do but the quest... but getting that pretty cool secret room!
Little-Ladies-day: we had maps last year (that you could earn by doing a "daily"), this year it was this voting for your favorite (+quest for that)
Christmas: I suppose it was two years ago when we had to collect letters from christmas-trees?
Halloween: While that does include some sort of fate its different because those fates get special mechanics etc.
Moonfair: I suppose it was last year (or the year before... oh dear, I'm getting old...) when we had minigames to do aswell!
Valentines day: Fortune tellers this year, exchanging chocolate the year before, several quests before that...

So, we actually got plenty of events that werent only a fate-grind - and yes, those were cooler than just doing fates for hours and hours, but I can well understand that sometimes fates are just easier to be put in, which is sad... still, gotta give the devs that they're trying to give us new sort of things - keep THAT good work up, guys!

Some people seem to forget that we're actually getting events with new ideas - and its sad that that seems to be forgotten as soon as we get some fates again because they couldnt come up with a new idea or didnt had enough time to develop something keep in mind, that we're getting two more events soon and we dont know what they're gonna be like!

Fragmenting a debate is counterproductive and only results in keeping the debate circle around instead of continue

crafting instead of FATE can be something the OP want (because no FATE involved during crafting). The mats can be farmed from enemies or from a bell.

I don't dislike the summer event FATEs, but they could be more like the summer events of 2011 and 2012 (killing enemies with emotes instead with the weapon).

Oooooh yeah, right! Sorry, I'm really getting all those events mixed up! I just wanted to point out: events are a LOT more than just fates - and people seem to forget that as soon as one or two fate-events happen...

Players have the right to want change to events because yes some have been "different" but a higher percentage of the events we have had, fates have been involved.
In a sense it's recycled content, which if one would want could just go play Destiny

Ultimately this forum is poorly moderated. The moderators should insure that threads like this are all merged into one. We'll get this one and probably a couple more about the same thing... especially after the event starts.
