Tattoo on the back for all players?

Personally i would love an entire sleeve tatoo on either of the arms of my femroe, much more than a tatoo on her back.

I don't think so. That specific design being unavailable, yes. That should be something that is defacto. However removing an entire region off the body to not have tattoos on? That's not fair and unjust. They already have a body tattoo, let alone the fact that it will always forever be that SPECIFIC tattoo design. So no, if tattoos ever get implemented, we should be able to place them in predetermined spots including where the current 1.0 tattoo sits. 2.0 players should just not be able to use the "Carteneau" design.

Yes, I want to have tattoo, but this means they need to update the character creation system and with the memory issue going on, I doubt we will get it.

Me too, and they could start with those from certain outfit like the rogue one or the kind of tribal one from heavensward, they already have the models ^^

Note: I have the legacy tattoo, and the last time it was actually visible on my character due to gear and hairstyle choices was 2.0

It's less of a tattoo and more of a brand actually.

Lore wise, the reason we have said tattoos is cause we were in crystal stasis to survive the big boom. Even the 1.0 chocobos got burned feathers and that same tattoo on their beaks.

Implement a tattoo system that's fine but just not that particular brand.

Legacy pricing was for 3 months of payment. Tattoo is for i believe any 1.0 character.

Any/every character that was transfered from a 1.0 server to ARR was given the back tattoo.

But 'Legacy' status, legacy chocobo, and reduced monthly price were all given only to accounts that bought at least 3 months of worth of Crysta.

Which is something somewhat annoying. You got a month of 1.0 free on purchase as trial. Then you choose how long to remain subscribed via Crysta purchase, and after I think 4-6months(?) the game went free to play. So if you didn't buy the 3 months of crysta during that initial narrow window you were likely SOoL.

I put a lot of playtime into 1.0, but no Legacy status because I only ever bought 2 months at most of crysta, the rest of my play time coming from the free trial month and after 1.0 went FTP. 3 Years since ARR now, buying that one extra month worth of crysta would have saved me money by now ; ;
