Will I be able to max out all three of my chocobo's skill trees? (Read carefully)

It takes 55 SP to reach rank 10 on any of the trees. 55*3=165 SP total needed for all 3 ranks

You get the same # of SP as your level until level 10 (So 1 for Level 1, 2 for level 2, and so on until 10). Then it's as you said, 10 SP per level until 16. 11 for 17. 12 for lv 18, 13 for 19, and 14 for 20.

So from level 1 to level 10, you get 55 SP (enough to reach rank 10 in one tree).

You then get 10 CP per level to 16 (6*10=60 SP)
Then 11+12+13+14=50CP for levels 17-20

55+60+50=165. Enough to reach rank 10 on all 3 trees.


Also I see the error in your calculation:

6 SP is needed for the next healing skill, which means 13 - 6 = 7 SP left.
Incidentally, since I need 7 SP for the next heal skill, this means we are left with 0 SP once all SP at this point has been distributed.

SP received at rank 19: 13.
These 13 is all I have to work with.
I need 7 SP for the next heal skill, so 13 - 7 = 6.
Next heal skill requires 8 SP, so I save these 6.

You counted rank 7 twice.
