Me and a FC mate were running A8 for items we needed for the gear. The group does good up to Brute Justice and I MT him with my PLD. At first seemed like random intervals I would lose aggro on the boss and couldn't figure out why. We wipe due to too many DPS dying and I see my FC mate yelling at one of the healers to stop using Provoke.

At first thought he was crazy but sure enough the next time we got to Brute Justice I see that healer using Provoke. I asked them to stop too but they insisted they weren't doing it. Endedup abandoning later cause DPS was too slow but that is was just a weird experience and couldn't figure out why that healer was doing that.

That is griefing.
Report them.

They're intentionally trying to sabatoge the run for 'shits and giggles'.

Yesterday I was doing a trail as a tank to get to 60 so I can become a mentor. Got Ravana HM, the other tank was a mentor. The run went ok, then he dies. I try to get aggro but failed (I've learned I need provoke to quickly get the boss to focus on me, but instead of being simply told. I was insulted). Anyways, the worst part of it, the damn mentor just stood there and did the gold dance. I've been playing this game for two years. This truly has been the only time I've ever wanted to reach through my screen and slap the hell out of someone.

here's a tale to make you all laugh (i know it made me laugh when it happened)!
me and 3 friends decided to make a pre-made group for PoTD, and whenever we used a pomander of sight, we'd mark the traps in the rooms so people wouldn't step there, however one of them has a habit of walking to the markings due to other dungeons having mechanics where you have to split up and go to where a marking is, etc. so, 9 times out of 10 he would end up walking right onto the trap the moment the marking went up and we kept laughing at him, we were all in a skype call too so it made it even better!

he was also playing on his drg, so i guess it's fitting, especially when he died to landmines ^_^

I went through leveling roulette today as WAR to try to get a little extra xp for it. The run was going really smoothly and what stuck out for me on this one was an arcanist who was progressing through the game for the first time. As I main SMN I wound up giving advice on her skills throughout the dungeon and at the end, me and the SCH(her friend) stuck around until the dungeon kicked us out, trying to give her any assistance she needed. Hopefully she learned quite a bit from it and I have faith that her friend's gonna be able to help her out.

Chrysalis was a good "Git gud or it stops for you here" Trial that is behind the Main Story. Ah I miss 2.55 Times sometimes with Steps of Faith / Chrysalis Pre-Nerf xD

Maybe 3.55 will have something like that too.

So I did story roulette the other day, and I think I've never encountered so many things wrong all together. I got Praetorium and mind you, I know or at least I'm 95% positive that I can solo heal that instance on my BLM >_> do you even heal nowadays there?
Anyways, I believe only the MT, a PLD, was playing ok. I should have played an ice mage or something really, to fit in the group.

Party composition was something like that: me as BLM, the PLD main tank, another PLD, a WHM, a SCH, a MNK, a BRD and the last one I don't recall, maybe a goon. Noteworthy were all of them except the two tanks (the second PLD was all the time in CS, I don't even know if he fought Ultima) and except the goon. All others either had no clue about anything or were together in a premade with the decision of playing "how you should not play in sort-of-serious content". It made me giggle because even so, we got through. Made me giggle expect the MNK. I wanted to slap her. In the face. With a chair.

I'll start with her. You know the kind of player that stands on keys on switches but doesn't click them? Yeah drives me nuts. We're all waiting for her to get the first key and she just stands there looking pretty. One player runs back and gets the key, we continue, she's maybe not looking, all good. Keeps on doing it though. Party goes to the door, ready to run through, she stands at the keys/switches doing nothing.

Next. The BRD. Sings one time Requiem, all rest Ballad. Why you ask me? I have no clue. Everything is full. Maybe for me? :x

Continuing. The SCH. He was actually the only one not synced, a pure lvl50, had his crossclass skills all right, Swiftcast etc. Looking good! For some reason though when he was healing (again, I could solo heal Praetorium on BLM, not much healing needed here) on Cleric, and when dpsing, he took Cleric off. I remembered a similar SCH back in the days in Haukke normal, who statted full int and healing under Cleric was actually more effective than without, his INT was naturally higher than his MND. But does that work with lvl50 healer specific gear? Even with all allocations in INT? I doubt it. But as I said, no big deal, makes me giggle.

Now the last one. WHM. Did I tell you guys before how I hate the sound of Medica2? Yes I did. I've told tales about WHM spamming this, but it doesn't even come close to this guy. I thought the other spammers before were pressing the button as soon as the GCD was up, but nooooo I was wrong. This one did.
Literally. Every. Time. The. GCD. Was. Up.
Nobody needed heals, if they did the fairy healed them. And yet he was just nonstop spamming, even with Divine Seal D: Pre-pull, as we were running through trash, full time on bosses until he ran out of mp, then popped Shroud and kept on. If we were waiting at the boss gate and someone was yet to arrive he would precast it, and when that person was with us, again.
Christ! I hated the sound of that spell before and I even deleted my own WHM just to not use it myself anymore. Now it makes me cringe. Thank you WHM! Thanks to you, dear friend, I have now muted everyone else's sound effect ;_;

This resumes my giggeling/cringing experience in the story roulette. /vent over

Let me weep about the Weeping City of Mhach then. One time I am doing a routine run to get that L230 gear. First boss fine. Second boss people can't get their shit together. I was OT as of course nowadays tanks randomly start tanking the main boss without asking the other tank. I personally hate that. The MT died, so I stepped in. Did my job.

I forgot to turn the wall trash boss and I was yelled at, but I didn't tank it before. This is a trash mob, so a decent DPS should survive.

We do the orb boss. Everyone does their job. We pass through the "galaxy" phase and people start dying and I was targeted by a AOE bomb so I run away from my team to take on the impact. I ran a little too far and I wasn't in the range of my healer. 3 teams wipe. I got voted out...

People couldn't hold their own on the second boss and person who gets voted out is me who tanked it, because others couldn't. Talk about fair treatment.

Note that the person in question is a Conjurer, not a White Mage. All cross-classable skills from every class are available to classes. Jobs are restricted to just two sources.
