Chrysalis, I'm on AST. Firsttimer message pops up, the paladin immediately pulls, leaving no time to explain anything. During the first sphere phase, my co-healer (scholar) and three DPS (monk, bard, BLM) die, I quickly pick everyone back up. Second sphere phase, scholar, bard and BLM die again. Some time after this, Nabriales uses Triple - scholar is busy summoning Selene without Swiftcast while my Essential Dignity is on CD, and the paladin is in Sword Oath and doesn't pop any CDs. Paladin dies, warrior replaces him. During meteor phase, almost everyone dies because some meteors explode in our faces. After the phase, only the warrior, the dragoon and myself are alive. I raise the scholar, we slowly get the party back up, then we kill Nabriales with six people alive.

The achievement for clearing Chrysalis shows up in the chatlog - and guess what, there's only one firsttimer in this party, and it's the dragoon who survived everything O.O

Imagine this would be still Pre-Nerf, so many wasted Limit Break 3's Q_Q right before getting sucked in

Chrysalis was a good "Git gud or it stops for you here" Trial that is behind the Main Story. Ah I miss 2.55 Times sometimes with Steps of Faith / Chrysalis Pre-Nerf xD

I wish I'd kept un-edited screenies of my last encounter with a skill-macro-spamming catgirl, because I swear it's the exact same person.

I'm from Faerie and I know who this is, and yeah it's the same person. She's nice enough but the macro spamming and lolcat-speak does get on the nerves.

Me and a FC mate were running A8 for items we needed for the gear. The group does good up to Brute Justice and I MT him with my PLD. At first seemed like random intervals I would lose aggro on the boss and couldn't figure out why. We wipe due to too many DPS dying and I see my FC mate yelling at one of the healers to stop using Provoke.

At first thought he was crazy but sure enough the next time we got to Brute Justice I see that healer using Provoke. I asked them to stop too but they insisted they weren't doing it. Endedup abandoning later cause DPS was too slow but that is was just a weird experience and couldn't figure out why that healer was doing that.

Ran both Tam-Tara Deepcroft Hard and Sunken Temple of Qarn Hard as a DRK recently (first time in both as well). Explained I had never tanked in either instance. Both groups I was with understood and gave me quite a bit of good advice, enabling us to tear through the dungeons easily (although I did get turned into a mummy by the Vicegerent and died once finishing off the Damaged Adjudicator). I wished I had been able to give everyone in each group a commendation.

We tired one more time after I asked. He did stop the last time and the other healer was good enough but DPS was too slow and we enraged the last attempt and voted abandon after that. I feel even if we kicked him it wasn't going to make a difference anyway.

So I did weeping this morning and this run went quite well until we hit the stone face wall thingy.I as one of the healers wasn't expecting much because like this trash mob doesn't really do much unless your not paying attention to your tank if your alliance B which I was.But it was alliance C that screwed up and it was quite amusing though surprising the tank a dk I guess had mad tunnel vision and didn't bother to go to their side.So their alliance survived the first time barely while everyone else of course took damage and MT nearly died.You would think C would go to the side on the second add phase.Nope didn't happen while they were hitting the boss their entire alliance went very dead and we were lucky stone face was nearly dead or we would have also been very dead. I've never seen a near wipe on stone guy till now XD
