It's all kinds of awkward. UK players weren't allowed to use codes acquired from the US version of the promotion so it's really baffling that they're forced to compete with the rest of Europe (and Australia) in a promotion that is far from easily accessible. And this is why the UK is getting so badly screwed since the rest of the EU region is also trying to get a hold of Games Master since its the only source for the EU codes for this campaign.
if the UK campaign is considered a failure its not due to lack of demard more lack of supply and SE picking a disturbution method that throttles the supply
The item codes are valid until December 31, 2016.
Excuse me?!
We get this late, and waiting. And are the other codes going to be expiring at the same date? The NA and Japan's code expires on the same date, except they had MONTHS to redeem it.
So this event is not only a mess, people having to hunt the codes, wait, pictures of ourselves. But this is a joke. We don't even know WHEN or WHAT the next promotions are.
I seriously do not know if I will last for three months, feeling like I am being less worth by the other regions, and no reply from you. It's disgusting.
I don't want to compete against me fellow Europeans about a dress, I do not want to send a shady magazine my picture. I do not want RNG in real life.
Put it in the mogstation now. If you do it at a later point, oh boy, will people be pissed after going through this goose chase.

If all the codes expire at the same time December 2016, what does this mean for those that still need to wait for a promotion? Players with a Japanese region account have 10 months to input their codes, the NA account holders have 7 months and the EU players from the UK (or import the magazine from the UK) have 6 months for the first two issues and 3 months for the final issue with the White Fat Chocobo.
What about those that still need to wait untill October for their events? What if something goes wrong with their codes and we need to wait weeks or months? If all the codes expire at the same time, then SE has realy fucked up.
Hello, quick update: I have lost track of the amount of shops I have visited (I've been up and down the south coast for various things this week). I have yet to find a single shop that even stocks the magazine, let-alone has any on the shelf.
I still claim Square Enix are treating Europe as second rate customers. They don't seem to care for us and will rather force through something that is this obviously not working, rather than take the consequence and put it on the mog station.I seriously do not know if I will last for three months, feeling like I am being less worth by the other regions, and no reply from you. That or we could start a angry mob, with pitchforks, torches and a good old battering ram fancied from a fallen tree. Rush to the neerest Square Enix office and burn it to the ground in search of the monster that put this campaign together and thought it was a good one.

And don't forget to bring your magazines with you, so they get to read a little bit of what they forced you to buy to get access to the promotionI still claim Square Enix are treating Europe as second rate customers. People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
still waiting.....![]()
