"The Darkness vs Yo-Kai"

(Excuse my cutting here^^)

I actually like this event because it is NOT dark and violent but instead something that lightens up a bit (same reason I like Hilli). I do like how the mainstory got darker and serious but its nice to sometimes get something thats only fun, maybe even a bit silly to lighten the mood
After all, I do play this game to be told a great story - but not having to cry myself to sleep every night because they killed my favorite character is nice too

at least we can now glamour the palace of the dead weapons with this anime bs. Just wish they would glow, so I wouldn't have to look at these weapons since some of them look real bad.

Öh... if you dont like them, why would you glamour them...? There are plenty of weapons for you to choose from (even glowy ones!) if you'd like to see something different from your Palace of the Dead one...? They dont auto-glamour the Yo-Kai weapons onto yours after all ;P

SE gets paid to put more content for me to do in the game? This isn't exactly product placement, that would be having posters that say "buy coke" plastered across the gold saucer. This is a collaboration event (something for us to do), paid for and partly made by level 5, it is extra revenue to pay for new content and infrastructure (like how the mogstation that people like to moan about paid for the EU datacenter), AND you get a fun little temporary event out of it. I've wanted more collaborations since we had the XI and XIII ones, and I love the novelty of them.

How much of a blind white knight can you become. What new content? repeating the same atma fates from 3 years ago?

Now we have to be proud about EU datacenter when even random F2P mmo's had EU servers from launch???

Just dont do it if you dont like it. Im 100% sure if this event was JP only people would have complained about not getting these items. But well next time just make it JP only and give eu/na the mogstation option sounds better right?

Because currently I play smn on one of my main characters and have you looked at the weapons? Scholar and SMN is always the same god damn book, there are besides the crafted mog weapon, not many books that look great. I do have the relic and midas one, but both of them look just plain boring as well as most books. I wish we could just hide them, aka the monk fists but since we can't, I might as well find some bs weapon that can be glamour that doesn't look like the lvl 1's.

As mentioned in my first post, some of the weapons aren't so bad, for example the blm weapon or the white mage weapon. But I wish that for example, the blm weapon would have some ice crystals hoovering around the weapon when you draw it. Could do a full frozen glamour set on my alts.

But back to your question, I am that bored and have nothing else to do in game, that I might as well do the event. I like that event actually, I just don't like the reward. SE could have been more creative with it.

Honest and for true, I can not see SE including Disney characters in the crossover. I think there will be a crossover, but trying to make the iconic Goofy or Donald fit the aesthetic or worse come in all cartoony, seems like something square would avoid. Sora or other humanish characters I can see, but not the anthropomorphic animals.

While I agree that some effects would have been cool I guess they dont wanna add that to such low level weapons xD

For your book-problem... have you taken a look at the PvP-weapons? And I really like the Shiva-ones too, they even can get a nice glow effect! There are also the eh... Kirimu-ones, I guess they're called? The ones in the Crystal-tower-style... they look... interesting and certainly not like the level 1 book! (not saying your complain is "wrong", just trying to throw in a few suggestions that you may or may not like^^')

PS.: I also didnt asked you why you were doing the event if you dont like the weapons - I only asked you why you're glamouring them if you call them bs! I mean - I probably gonna get all weapons myself even though I'm not to fond of some designs just to HAVE them (terrible hoarder here)

lol same here, and I am one of the people that after having an weapon for the week, I need to change my glamour again. Sometimes earlier, depending how many people have the same glamour. Since that's true endgame I am always desperate when it comes to events that actually have weapon skins. you also never know how you feel in a couple of months, for example I skipped most of the lightning weapons during that event, now I am slapping myself since some of them would have been great for the theme I was going for. But at least we can buy those via mog station.
