I have 1 rule about spending money on videogames. I must be having fun doing it and tbh I am no longer having fun playing this game.

I was excited for DD but as usual the content was a bit underwhelming to say the least. I played through it on Day 1 and I was honestly falling asleep playing it. Then I found out how to get the new shinny weapons. That's when I opened Mogstation and unsubbed. I'm not going to do something that is so boring that I'm falling asleep to get a weapon I don't need for my second reason.
We should really have the "I'm Quitting" megathread started up.
See ya tomorrow.
So for recap! New content is underwhelming, Can't Find a group of 8 people to do hardcore PvE with and PvP que times are too long. So after all this can someone please tell me what content should I do? Should I try crafting; well, I do but the only thing crafting is good for is making money and after a while making money just doesn't hit the spot as something I should pay 15$ for.
I really like this game but if I'm paying for a product I must feel like I'm getting value from it and atm I really don't think the Dev team has done a very good job at adding value with new content. Its just new content with no value (besides Weeping). If you feel differently, please I would like hear why? am I wrong? do you agree? discuss
no one cares why you are leaving, you just want attention
i don't pay to play subscription mmo's because I've calculated the value of entertainment/cost to be greater than other gaming options that are available to me. I play subscription mmo's because the consistent income stream is what allows the developer to deliver the high quality product that I expect from a AAA mmo.
I will remain subbed to ffxiv until I lose interest in playing mmo's in general or until a quality competitor is available. Think of it more like backing a patreon of a developer I support if that clears things up for you at all.
I think your right and hope more people start to feel the same way. Content is lacking innovation and something needs to be done about it. Sadly these threads don't make much difference, but money does.So for recap! New content is underwhelming, Can't Find a group of 8 people to do hardcore PvE with and PvP que times are too long. PvP Q isnt that long and you may want to consider going on a more raid focused server if you really want to do hardcore pve stuff. But I tell what would it change you would still say its no fun cause u only raid etc.. With DD you mean I guess "deep dungeon"? well do it alone then its pretty nice and not faceroll also its just the start they will add more floors later (200) so the current floors cover lv 1-60 the coming floors will be all for max level and hard. You may have done it in 1day but not everyone has so much time and since it wasnt even a major patch what did u expect. No need to make such a thread "Why Im leaving" you just say its no fun anymore for u well ok then just go lol. No need for a disscussion ppl who dont have fun well but it gets boring to read such threads.
