I am still leveling WAR myself, but the queues so far have still been instant. I suppose what another poster said was correct then, since it is new content, everyone is pretty much flocking to it. (I know I do it a bit for the mount).

Maybe after the rewards have been gained, it'll die down a bit.

Honestly, I was planning on using PotD to solo level my tank & healing classes, even if doing so is less efficient than actually doing dungeons. I just simply will not tank/heal for you people. Except for the first 3 dungeons and Ifrit normal. I'll heal those.

It probably will, but deep dungeon leveling has some obvious upsides:
- Making progress on an i235 weapon (Or materia...or minions, mounts...things you can convert into monies)
- No need to grind/buy interim gear
- No role composition (YayDPSqueuetimes)

I dunno, I feel it will remain relevant in the long run. Materia prices will probably crash, tho.

level'd couple of alts the last month and never have an issue when it comes to the HW content. Tank is still instant, as well as healer, dps takes 2 - 10 minutes no matter if during prime time or any other time of the day. So I can't confirm that this is an issue of palace of the dead, rather than the issue with the data center itself probably.

It's still new content and alot of people are grinding it out to get the i135 weapons + mounts, minions and even Grade 5 materia. Pretty sure things will even out, but if Tank queues are that long, I dread what dps queues will be like.

Either way, while grinding PotD it makes sense to use an alt to level it up. While it may not be as efficient in terms of time spent per exp, there's alot of benefits since you gain exp + potsherds for whatever you want to spend it on + eventually a weapon. It's also easier than leveling dungeons, although the 41-49th floors can be wasted due to (intentional) wipes

I just queued leveling roulette as a bard and got in after about 10 mins. It wasn't very long at all. Unfortunately it was Ifrit =P LOL!

outside xp gain=my bard was lvl 45 before starting PoTD now im lvl 58 I have to say this is better than sitting in a 45min DPS que just to go up a single level but I can see why que times would be affected but from random chatter I hear ppl are jumping on the XP train before PoTD xp gets nerfed

Yeah, I'm hoping it will revert back to normal sometime again. I have never experienced a 20 minute wait as a tank for anything. Was just ridiculous.
