    How I see it:

    normal medals: 100% drop if you finish a FATE with gold or silver rating
    minions: buy them with the normal medals
    special medals for the weapons: not 100% drop from FATEs if you do them with a yo-kai minion
    event duration: around 2 months

    In addition, the amount of Legendary Medals needed for weapons increase as you collect them.
