There IS actually a way to clear without having to restart from floor 1. You just have to log out for at least 10 minutes after killing the boss (but not going through the exit portal), and upon logging back in, you'll be back in Quarrymill without anything saved.

Of course, I bet there will be impatient asses still sabotaging runs even after knowing this, because they can't be arsed to wait 10 minutes.

Or make the rewards for beating the boss enough that people will want to finish (they are already making floor 50 give upgrades to aetherpool, which will help)

No reason this rng cancer should be locked behind current level, blame the system.

The system isn't great but it in no way shape or form excuses griefing. SE has said that they are going to make it easier to get upgrades, if people are being assholes for the sake of "efficiency" they should just wait till then, not like getting a glowing weapon actually does anything but help an alt job.

In the meantime, this could work out waaaayyy way better for normal people if they actually took reports seriously, hopefully can actually look at evidence, then hand out temp bans with say 3 infractions. Perma bans would be kinda extreme considering how people are liable to troll and report for shits and giggles, but there needs to be consequences for this kind of behavior, it doesn't belong in our game.

Finished my weapon and also got the mount and one minion so far. Not once did I leave a group. Yes it's time consuming but its a game right? If you don't enjoy the process then don't do it - don't screw other people up to shortcut it.

Every floor is a bit too much of a safety blanket, although I think 10 is too much. Maybe every 5 floors would of been a better place to save at.

Of course, I bet there will be impatient asses still sabotaging runs even after knowing this, because they can't be arsed to wait 10 minutes.

Problem is that will be classed as an exploit and potentially get people banned. If you have completed the floors you should be able to select where you enter at.
