Because ppl farm the hw ones for crystals and there can be absolutely no overlapping because you need more redundant things to do that require minimal work by the devs so you do not realize how lacking in content this game really is. The more they can spread things out and more time they can make you focus on multiple tasks the better.

Plus it makes new players feel there are higher population numbers by bringing ppl back to starter zones, thereby retaining them longer.

outside of 2.0 beastmen and some seasonal crap I don't see what the problem is, I hear this complaint a lot... I'm seriously curious, what has burned you out of fates, which is essentially just "killing mobs" that Hunts, or dungeons, or leves or maps or deep dungeon or diadem or ... you know pretty much anything that requires you to use your weapons, hasn't done... whats the beef?

I think some have still a Atma trauma.

I don't mind the FATEs. It is a one-time event about a non FF game (if it is about another FF game it would get own unique FATEs)
