Well I'll tell ya my own embarrassing stories so you don't feel like the only one.

I'm mostly annoyed about the house I lost too, I trashed it because I didnt want to create more work for myself trying to convert even more gil for the transfer. And if (more like when) I transfer back, I wont even be able to get a house again until the let houses auto-demo again :l

I should have stayed firm on not transferring, but I wanted to go/try somewhere new .-.

I'm sure you all will find hmi/her/other that you are looking for, just need to be sure on what you will and will not do as well as seeing what they are willing to give for you as well. Many people forget about the latter when they are in the 'dating' stage.

I actually feel like I should expand on what you said about seeing what people will give as well as what they get.

I *still* feel sick, like I want to throw up, when I think about transferring to meet someone else only to basically ruin my entire game play experience. If you had asked me a few months ago if I could ever feel that way due to a video game I would have said no way.

People are very good at putting their best foot forward, rushing into something based on an initial impression is not a good idea.

But then again, there is the dress...

Well I'm sure there are plenty of people who will happily marry you for the items even though I'm sure you would like more.

As for as forming a connection, usually those things take quite a bit of time of being around each other and can't really be rushed regardless of how sure we may be of ourselves and so on. Sadly its try, try, try again effort if its really desired. Honestly, Balmung does not look like a bad place to start since its always locked out and you'll probably be constantly swarmed by people till you accidentally find someone you connect with. I was personally thinking about transferring there since Diabolos seems a little dead for my taste (not saying the server is dead as a whole, just social wise).
