i did hate diadem right of the bat, honestly it wasn't anything we was promise, they did talk of exploration and such, but in the end it was a new area for monster party.Yeah, I'd say give it a few days , a week at least. everyone loved diadem when it was just released, the true test is do people love after time and guides have passed?
I imagine that there will be a lot less spoiled by efficiency for this kind of content than in diadem. the major draw so far is the i235 weapon, plus smaller groups.
I understand that, but the problems with diadem became clear with time as we are seeing with potd here and how players are treating each other in the content, we are getting closer to that week, after all, and we are hearing of soloing that gets impossible, an rng that encourages poor behavior, and ditching before the boss floor.

Right now, the glaring issue for me is the upgrading of your weapon/armor....if you're 'capped' on one the upgrade can still be wasted on the capped one. Just spent 4 hours yesterday sitting at 28/30 and all my upgrades were unchanged on floors 41-50.....Fix that stuff, dev team. Its seriously a amateur oversight to not make the upgrade go to the uncapped at least and very stressful to those NOT leaving on the 49 floor to be trolled like that.
I did floors 1-40 and didn't have enough stats to continue so I had to do them again to be able to do 41-50 which then did and I found it really boring.

Now that it's been a while people are starting find exploits for deep dungeon and certain behaviors may start to annoy us. I made a new poll to find out the worst social aspect of the Deep Dungeon. Maybe it's something SE can fix, or maybe it's something us players can fix. Either way it's good to know.

Another player pointed out a very useful piece of information which we all should pass along:
What I find silly is that those who wipe the group, or leave before the boss, or vote abandon do not understand one simple thing:
Killing the boss does not save progress. Using the exit portal saves progress.
They can go all the way to floor 50, kill the boss, and if they did not get any upgrades in the run just leave without using the exit portal. Progress wont be saved and they can continue running 41-50 trying to get an upgrade. While those who did get an upgrade can save their progress.
EDIT: There is conflicting information out so at this point I can't recommend trying your luck with this.

the trouble is the people think that being behind a screen allows them to be the worst kind people without risk, SE need to be hard on people acting like this. a good way is to make you have 2-3 try max for pass a floor series, if you don't arrive it rez. like this each time they leave they will take out one chance and after 3 leave, reset of the save.
plus add a mechanic that count the number of leave per day, passing a certain number, people can't do any deep dungeon for 24 hours.
you find it hard? believe me, people need to be teached that when you join a team, you must show respect and not be an ass because you are selfish!
For the 2nd poll, i'd love to see multiple minibosses and such with many minions and spontaneous effects. Other than that I think it should be a bit harder and have more mechanics. It's just too easy as it is.
It's a flop just like every new piece of content that has come out since GS. I got to the 50 bracket, couldn't do it because of the item level restrictions and had to go back to floor 1. 3 hours of running around with random groups, half the which didn't talk and pulled less and less each time, the other half riddled with AFK, let me tell you how fun it is on floor 34 when you get 3 tanks matched with you and 2 of them drop off the face of Eorzea. The place is so dull none of my linkshells actively go into it, this was make or break for me given how bad the content has been, as of 3.3 I've only played every Tuesday for an hour at most. For a game that boasts 6 million players, it certainly seems like we're only getting content to support 600 players.
