But i don't find it funny, struggling with so little space and being forced to buy extra retainers ^^"
I'm leveling CUL atm, do you imagine the amount of space i need Y.Y
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

And they are working to fix it. As well as working on large scale fixes to housing, pvp, varied content, raid changes, diadem changes. These are things that they wouldn't have done without feedback. I admired the dev team for having an entire portion of a live letter to address problems with 3.1 as well as an extensive apology from Yoshi P on the forums, it shows that they care about the game that they are creating and about the people playing it. The fact that they can safety jest about these issues shows that they are in fact connected to the community rather than hidden away from us, which is a really good thing to have.
I agree with you but here's an example of something they should have fixed when storage became a real issue back to....a pretty long time ago actually:And they are working to fix it. We all know glamour is the real endgame and people have been asking for ages why have 5 grade of prism if there is already issues with item storage.
Players have given really good idea about how to eventually deal with that issue, some being a book collector like Rift, other being simply removing all the 5 grades to have just 1 to save some space and yet, to this day, not a single answer regarding this :/
5 grade * 7 crafters = 35 slots use for useless items when 1 prism per crafter would more than enought :/ (plus the blank prisms needed for the craft)
My complain is not about the time they took to deal with that issue, but what they did BEFORE doing it for everyone. If servers do not have the capacity to add more space then why give the opportinity to BUY extra retainers ?
I mean, is there a magic portal that opens and magically gives more space on the servers for the paying ones ? (considering we all pay a sub already). I like the idea of them doing jokes and all, but i don't like it when they do it regarding something they screwed without beeing serious about it on the other hand, it tends to make me a little bitter ^^" (not sure my last sentence is really english sorry ^^")

Meanwhile in another thread, 68 pages of people complaining about the Summer Promotion for EU that still awaits for a proper answer...
Oh and let's not forget Atma 2.0 that came in 3.1 x) everyone loved atma right?
And the chocobo blocking queues...still a thing yep.
...and the possible 50 boosting potion that nobody wants...instead of just making the story skippable...
.....and better housing....which is still exploited....
......somewhat better rewards without putting them on mogshop (Seriously, the dead palace boss' outfit is amazing, why can't I get that from the dungeon itself?!)
Yep they clearly listen to us alright.

You just poking fun at the thread or actually serious? If serious why do the people that feel this way keep paying their sub? Reminds me of time when I was working at taco bell and this one guy came in all the time and always complain about how bad they though the service and food was but always came back and repeated the cycle.
Because, even with those issues, i still like the game. You just poking fun at the thread or actually serious? If serious why do the people that feel this way keep paying their sub? Not saying FF14 is crap, just saying that dealing with some little issues could make the game...crap i don't know the word, lets say "less struggling". (don't hesitate to correct me on my english please ^^")
The game is good, some ideas are very good too, example i liked Diadem, like DD, love the story, the class system and all, just having issue with the way they do not listen to there customer if they are out of Japan :/
FF14 is a really good game and taking care of the little things that make you "gniiiiiiii" like item storage, strange Rng, stranger % would only make it better imho
They know we have issues with item storage and I find it innapropriate to joke about it, it's like they were joking about the EU campaign for the maid outfit by making an achievement like "not enought magazines in stock" for getting all the items ^^"
Well we did complain about the glamour system but they did not listen either xD
