Interesting, as Dolorous's party was wiped out in Copperbell mines by giants, and have been "thorough in their work" as Alianne was calling it.I didn't think much of it but on one of the floors my group ran into a female miqo'te with short pink hair. I don't recall what she was called in-game but I think she had a lance. Her death quote was something to the effect of "Oh Dolorous..." Did some research and found that she's from the early Sastasha NM through Copperbell NM quests. Her name is E'manafa.
But apparently anything can happen in there, as people seem to pop up again after falling into miles-deep chasms and pits.

Oh, then maybe the Staff-spinning Adventurer is Kikina? the third member of Dolorous' party.
Or it's the work of that Mage the Boss of Floor 50 spoke off. You know, if one can built a Monster out of a Head... then one sure can steal corpses, throw them in Deep Dungeon and revive them in some sort of Zombie State.
... Mage ... ... Ascian -_- ...

Ya I remember that guy back in Limsa starting storyline that he died by the hands of the WoL at the end of Limsa Starting Main Scenario for WoL who started in Limsa.
Only those who played through Limsa Starting City will be able to recongize him.
that guy was kidnapping people to be tempered by Levi and was attempting to abduct everyone in Swiftperch until the WoL and a squad of Yellow Jackets killed him and forced his remaining followers to retreat.

Think it would be interesting to see NPCs of other players who died inside (regardless of revive)
Dead people, huh... I wonder if we'll eventually see people who died in the MSQ.
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.

ohhh, now I get it. The true reason Yoshi P. said he thinks most players won't make it to floor 200 later on won't be the difficulty
But because we'll have to fight Brave Fortemps Knight and Icy Heretics Leader as floor 100 bosses....
Do it SE! I double dog dare ya!

Yeah, um. I MIGHT be able to bring myself to fight the latter. MAYBE. It would be tough.
But if I encountered the former I'd have to just /sit and wait for him to finish me. I'd be crying too hard to play anyway.
Just gonna copy and paste this post I made on another thread, but I saw Dolorous Bear and Kikina! Someone else said they saw E'manafa!
So while running floors 11-20 of Palace of the Dead for the first time, we ran across a “staff-spinning adventurer” enemy. It was a lalafellin conjurer. We felt kinda bad killing her because a speech bubble saying something like “Where am I?” appeared over her body.
The second time we ran those same floors, we found a sword-wielding adventurer. I had a closer look at him this time.
Bad screenshot timing, but his face looked familiar… oh no… It was Dolorous Bear!!! Upon death he said something like “We said we were gonna make a name for ourselves…”
If anyone remembers, we encountered the NPC Dolorous Bear and his two companions, E’manafa and Kikina, after clearing Sastasha for the first time. Then you could talk to them outside Tamtara. Finally, you learn from Alianne that they perished in Copperbell mines.
Floors 11-20 of Palace of the Dead somewhat resemble areas of Copperbell Mines… That first conjurer we killed was definitely Kikina… Someone else said they saw E'manafa, and she said something like "Dolorous, I never got to..."
This reddit post seems to have people encountering other familiar faces as well...
