Anyone got their Padjali weapon yet?

You cannot change classes for your save, as far as I know at least. So you should have to play as the class you want the weapon for.

Yeah but, if you change saves you keep the weapon and armor value you had before. That's where my confusion comes from.

based on what I'm reading in the patch notes, the weapon you get is based on the job/class you talk to the NPC with when picking up the weapon.

so... you can do palace of the dead with DRK and pick up the weapon for AST

Well I might try and find out

at Aetherpool level arm + 15 and armor +14 atm

been playing as LNC but I might try and grab the weapon for BLM since I don't think my LNC will be 60 to use the weapon (currently level 12 in open world)

What's it like going past your outside level? Do you actually get to use the skills from higher levels?

Yup! Went it with a level 50 tank and she got her 50-60 skills. Was quite funny, her yelling that she didn't know what they did but was hitting them anyway.

How I felt playing with a BRD (50), after running through 1-50 floors I got to level 52 and got to test all my skills to 60 and look forward to it. :3

Yes, you get to use skills you don't yet have access to, including quest skills, but if you go in as a class instead of a job you don't get access to job skills.

well considering I'm doing it on an alt with hot bars from my main (Drg 50) I'm seeing no real difference, its more re learning the job
