About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

So after almost reading the whole thread I'm really disappointed. I eagerly awaited the campaign to come to the EU because being one of the many players who want the Maid/ Butler Attire.. and now look how it turned out. I'm not from the UK myself so I'm waiting for the campaign to come to Germany, too. I'm a bit afraid of that though. Thought about ordering the last issue but I probably won't do that anymore after seeing that the stock isn't even enough for UK players itself. And it really is saddening how the players have trouble obtaining the magazines. A lot of people said it before but we're paying for this game and I do understand it's a campaign where you have to do something to obtain the items but still.

I hope SE will answer to this mess properly soon.

The irony of it all is that the first country to be served for the EU group of nations is the one who's going to leave the EU...

The UK is leaving the European Union not Europe and when we talk about the EU here we mean the Europe area which is not something which will change.

Considering the "overwhelming" amount of replies we received from SE, I doubt this will be sorted any soon. The least we hoped is for some information for the other region's promotions but they don't seem to be able to answer that simple question at all.

I honestly blame the lack of communication overall: we have almost 70 pages and only received 3 or 4 (I didn't count) replies in total. In most games forums, there's at least ONE proper reply every now and then. But here? Nope, and those few replies we got were basically nothing of importance.

Well regarding the english promo, they will probably go with something like " we are not responsible, go ask GameMaster"
Regading the other EU campaign, my guess is that they did not find anyone one yet or are working on the promo, so they probably have nothing to say atm

An apology could've been something, especially for the UK players who can't obtain their codes from the first issue, essentially locking them from obtaining the chocobo mount (you need all 3 issues right?)

Considering how bad the promotional event was received, it would've been a good start.

They will start to see the players as those which ensure that they have a job in the gaming industry when they run risk of losing their job because the players will have enough of their arrogance and no longer play this game.

Just wanted to boost this issue and offer my support, because the EU campaign for these items is so ridiculous and poorly thought out. Having to buy three particular magazines and then take a selfie of yourself with the codes and send it to the magazine?! First of all, as the first post of this thread points out, there's a limited number of magazines. Thus there's a limit to how many people can get these items, which is incredibly unfair in comparison to the NA campaign. Second, I would be extremely uncomfortable sending a picture of myself to a magazine company with no true reason why this is required or what they can and cannot do with my picture, and I'm sure many players in the EU region feel similarly.

I'm surprised that SE would make such a mistake, but being in the NA region, perhaps I'm just not aware of it. But I hope SE will at least make an effort to fix it. This EU campaign is a hot mess and it needs to be reworked.
