It's now impossible to obtain the July issue from GamesMasters site, in other words whoever doesn't live in England can't stry to buy one in a store.

SquareEnix, I am disappointed, you had to screw up for us europeans right ? Well thanks a whole lot, not really.

Seems like we won't get our items.

Except the UK campaign is only the first EU campaign. It's even in red letters right near the top of the initial lodestone topic.

Note: Separate campaigns offering the same in-game items are currently being planned for those residing in: France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand and Nordic territories. Further details on these campaigns will be posted at a later date.

I mean the UK campaign is still pretty terrible, but EU players aren't forced into just the UK campaign if they ever want to obtain these items.

There's also nothing to prevent the additional EU area campaigns being even worse. How about needing to buy goods from a Germany only store chain that doesn't do delivery, or an online retailer that will only supply to certain parts of Scandinavia & has a €50 minimum order? It's a very real possibility.

And why exactly couldn't it be something similar to the NA promo?

This might be a just a rumor but what i heard/read was that some peoples abused amatzon promotion by pre-ordering something and after getting a redeemcode they simply cancelled their pre-oder and got everything free. Again i have absolutely noidea if this is true or not but if it is then i can totally understand why this one is so tricky.

It's only been just over a week since they released info on the UK promotion, so betting on the next one being in December or February would be a bit silly.
They'll likely announce the next EU promotion at some point during, or shortly after the Tokyo Game Show, which is about a week after the last UK magazine issue launches.

It's still in a few months then... with a program where you'll get the final reward by buying 7 fanfest tickets, or it could be alright and we would be able to go to the local supermarket and buy food!

At this point I'm torn - do I contact the company and ask for a refund or a code or do I write it off as a loss and hope that one of the future EU campaigns will be more accessible. After all, even if I do get a code from the magazine it seems likely that I'll be facing immense competition for the other two issues. Which is needlessly stressful and not fun at all.

Well you can do both, write to get a code and if they do nothing, wait for another EU promotion....one day....maybe

I'm not in those other regions.
Portugal is not even listed there and you couldn't get a magazine from GamesMasters.

It's still messed up.
