About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

I'm starting to loose faith in SE and their campaigns. From reading all the peoples mistrust, hazzle, giving over pictures of them selves to third parties, general confusion, and not to forget a media I personally thought was long gone and dead. I not seen a printed gamers magazine in my stores for more than 5 years now.

As I see it they are treating EU as a 2nd rank gamers market. They don't value us for anything and don't care if our purchase is going to be slower, harder to do/get and will cost more than a meal at a decent restaurant.

Now I can understand the .jp campaing. it was ok to get some snack/water what it was they could enjoy from 7/11.
I loved the idea of the Amazon deal where you could actually get a great game or more to!
Both these where instant, gratefying and useful.
Now why should the EU market then be so hard to make something similar, something where you actually got something that will not just be chucked in to the bin right after purchase? There are 7/11's in EU to. Amazon extends in to Europe also, and we are not a backwater place full of hillbillies that it seems SE think it is.

When I saw that it would no longer be a .jp deal only I was thrilled. When I learned that the US was going to be the only one right after to get it I was sad. Then I heard that EU would get one to. But seing this second rank work you guys force us to go through. I am discusted and quite angry. I seldom get angry but you managed to finally reach the level of upset.

Why, oh why can't you just chuck the freaking items on the mog station and then force us to give YOU the bloody 25€ rather than having you share them with some shady loonatic magazine that can be bought for money and wishes for a selfie? If they have the same level of morality as a tin pot dictator, then what would they do with all those images? I fear the worst, and I am sad to see how Square Enix have stooped this low.

Now can you guys shape up and please start earn your money for a change?

If you edit your original post you can bypass the word limit. What I do is type my entire comment out (I tend to type really long ones most of the time) then highlight most of it bar first few sentences followed by 'cut' > click post > click edit > 'paste' and save edit.

Well we are still in the EU for the time being until article 50 has not only been triggered but also concluded plus we are still one of the biggest economies in the EU so it is not that ironic to me. Maybe there is a silver lining for other EU regions in that SE might not inflict this really bad deal on their promotions too. Hopefully SE will learn from this huge thread complaining about it and the other EU ones are better, simpler and without massive stock/supply issues unlike the the UK one.

Dude, it's not like I think this campaign is a good one, or well run. I'm simply saying that the very vitriolic responses by people making assumptions about why SE had this campaign, or what the future campaign might entail are not helping, and could look foolish when the details of other campaign promotions are announced. People insulting SE are getting no where. Requesting a pan-European campaign ight be kore effective. Certainly documenting the failings of this campaign is a worthwhile goal.

I am fully aware of that. It is a physical impossibility to leave Europe unless we find a way to levitate our islands and plop them down somewhere else in the world. I was referring to his use of 'EU' as in the institution of the European Union from the offset.
