Too many. Who's gonna do 99 runs for a mount?

100 seems fine to me personally. When I was farming my mount, I remember seeing far too many people up in the 200-300 run range which is horrible. It's nice to still have a bit of a "challenge" (getting lucky on RNG) with a fail-safe in place.


I was in the 100+ club myself on getting the drop, just in case people are thinking I now don't care since I have my mount. I'm going to start farming the next birds and am thrilled to know it will only take 100 runs or less

I haven't been able to work up the resolve to do so much as a single extreme primal fight (ARR or Heavensward). More content that lies beyond my reach

If you were on my server I'd gladly help. Start a PF and ask people to take your bonus, but please be gentle! For Bismarck especially you'll find people very willing to take you through the fight. Ravana, I've done that for lots of people, Thordan some but not as much due to the complicated mechanics but if you're willing to learn and be persistent, you can definitely get them done.

This is especially true if you want the warring or dark lanner. I lucked out with my dark lanner, but expect both to be rare until they give totem options for those.

I did 330 for Bismarck. This is a welcome change. I don't want to do more than 100 Seph Ex runs

My popoto body was ready to farm Thordan ex for the helm fragments. A couple runs later a bird dropped and I rolled a 99.

Hopefully this will give more activity on Thordan ex queues. Wait times can go over 500+ mins even with a tank friend. >o<;;

Why in the world would you queue for that in duty finder? That's just asking for a head shaped hole in your desk out of frustration.

Make a party finder and do it. Doing any EX primal in duty finder is a terrible idea.

Not really. My experience in DF extreme trials is mostly positive and I got 2 of my birds (Bismarck and Ravana) through it. I ignored Thordan ex back when it was the current extreme trial and got my first clear from DF and it was even a one shot.

As you can see from that post, I ran Bismark EX 331 times till I finally won the white lanner. RNG really screwed me over.
