About the EU campaign for maid outfit and fat chocobo

Just a comparison to another company that runs an MMO:

When their expansion came out, they made a mistake with the code that came with the collector's edition for EU. One had to send the bar code of the product via snail mail to France to verify the item. To compensate, the company provided a bonus item to those who mailed the item. Also when someone encounters any issues about promotions, the community reps are quick to respond.

Furthermore, when people complain on their forums, they actually respond to posts if the posts are important and they don't go deleting any thread without saying a word like a communist country censoring its citizens.

All the players here want is some kind of response such as "We're looking into this issue", "We're currently talking to people in charge to see what's wrong", etc but we got nothing so far.

NA et JP could have everything within few hours. In UE, it starts in UK, will take at least three months and others countries have no idea what form the promotion will take and how long it will last.

And there's also countries not even listed in there, as someone mentioned earlier in the thread, it seems Portugal residents can only pray for the availability of these other campaigns to be spread to other countries, possibly through the purchase of digital goods. It just really feels like we're left out considering the fact that Fanfest is in a completely different year, we didn't have our own servers to begin with and then there's this. Time to pray, I guess.

This promotion is a joke honestly. Shipping cost of the magazine alone to Australia costs more than the actual product. This is a big screw you to EU players. Even worse is that I'm forced to buy this garbage and I need to sub for 3 months?

I guess the radio silence can be interpreted as "everything is going as planned".
It was over in 8h total (over 2 days), even people living in UK can't participate if they wanted to.

And even if that was the only option, at some point you have to realize that with all the different countries and their laws it just won't work.

At this point I'm more interested in what kind of other "special" "promotions" we get for the other countries than the items themselves.

Does anyone know if the codes for Australia's event will work on any EU account?
Was thinking to just get the bf to buy the items/codes when the Australia event is up.

The FF XIV copies in the australia's shops are EU versions. So yes, they will get EU item codes in the australia event.
